Beware of the Roof painters

We have just been called out by an old man in Frimley Surrey he has had a London firm round his house they have managed to sell him a roof paint system for £4000.00 they started at £6000.00 and were so nice they gave him a discount!

They told him the moss on his roof would soak up all the water when it rains adding to the weight on his roof which could collapse.

His daughter phoned us and asked us to check over the roof it is in perfect condition needs absolutely no work at all.
Worst thing was he gave a £1000 deposit.
Trading Standards now involved so I hope he gets his money back.

So beware dont buy at the doorstep have a roofing company check you roof out before you sign up to any of these so called home improvements
